Sovereign Flying Florist is a small family firm who send fresh flowers by post and gifts from here in the Channel Island of Guernsey to all over the UK. We have been in business sending fresh flowers by post and gifts since early 1980 and were one of the original fresh flowers by post companies. Our business sending fresh flowers and gifts by post has expanded over the years by word of mouth, and many customers have been with us from the very start.
About Us
Starting by sending just roses to family and friends, Sovereign Flying Florist has over the years expanded its fresh flowers by post range to include just about anything grown in Guernsey. We now send, roses, freesias, carnations, spray carnations, alstroemeria, lilies and many others. Owing to demand we have also increased our Guernsey Gifts section, and we have made sure that the quality of those gifts meets our very high standards. Our gift section is exclusive, but of the best the island has to offer.
We are the third generation of Guernsey horticulturalists in the family and so continue the traditional connection with the best known export from Guernsey - its fresh flowers!
Guernsey is the second largest of the Channel Islands situated in the Bay of St. Malo off the northern coast of France. Protected by the French coast, its mild climate is ideal for growing fruit and vegetables (the famous Guernsey tomato), and of course is known worldwide for the quality of its fresh flowers. These are grown in glasshouses that are known locally as vineries. Our fresh postal flowers and gifts make sure that this local tradition for quality is maintained well into the 21st century.
We only send the very best quality fresh flowers by post (called firsts) in our postal flower boxes. These are the freshest and highest quality flowers that are available in the island. Our seasonal and mixed bouquets are made up of the finest available blooms to ensure that they arrive fresher and last longer upon delivery. Even the greenery that accompanies the fresh flowers is the best quality available. It is this attention to detail that helps us to offer the great service we do.

Ordering
All of our prices for fresh flowers by post and gifts include delivery, and our goods are sent via first class letter post to ensure the fastest delivery. There is a special delivery channel from here in Guernsey for fresh Guernsey flowers by post that ensures the swiftest possible delivery. We always allow 2 working days for delivery but most of our fresh flowers do arrive the very next working day.
If you'd like to talk to us then we're here between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday and 9:00 to 12:30 on a Saturday (UK Time).
If we receive your order for fresh flowers by post or gifts before noon in the week and 10:00am on Saturdays, then we can usually despatch it the very same day.
We will always do our very best to ensure that your fresh flowers or gifts arrive on the specified day, but we always send them to arrive either on, or as close as possible to the requested date. In the unlikely event that we cannot supply your exact order, we do reserve the right to substitute your fresh flowers or gifts with something of equal or greater value. Not that we've actually had to do this before!
